Questa
nave fu costruita nel 1952 per la Royal Netherlands Navy come nave idrografica,
dai cantieri navali Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek P.Smit Jr di Rotterdam.
Il 24.11.1972 fu posta in disarmo.
dal 23.03.1973 al 10.1976 fu impiegata come nave alloggio per sommergibili
in Scozia.
Il 31.05.1977 fu venduta al cantiere navale Wilton Fyenoord, Schiedam.
. Fu poi armata da Stichting VVKM. per preseervarla come nave museo.
Nel 1981 fu noleggiata per alloggio degli equipaggi in partenza sulle
fregate.
In seguito fu venduta ad un imprenditore italiano per trasformarla in
yacht di lusso.
Attualmente al 12.02.2018 si trova presso il cantiere navale Megaride
di Napoli per essere ristrutturata e convertita in yacht.
This
ship was built in 1952 for the Royal Netherlands Navy as a hydrographic
ship, from the Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek P.Smit Jr shipyard in Rotterdam.
On 24.11.1972 it was placed in disarmament.
from 23.03.1973 to 10.1976 it was used as a submarine ship in Scotland.
On 31.05.1977 it was sold to the Wilton Fyenoord shipyard, Schiedam. .
It was then armed by Stichting VVKM. to keep it as a museum ship.
In 1981 it was rented for accommodation of the crews departing on the
frigates.
Later it was sold to an Italian entrepreneur to turn it into a luxury
yacht.
Currently at 12.02.2018 it is located at the Megaride shipyard in Naples
to be renovated and converted into a yacht.
