Questa
è l'unica nave di questa serie in servizio con la Guardia costiera
ellenica.E' stata ordinata nel 1993 e consegnata nel novembre 1994 all'unità
di criminalità finanziaria ed economica (SDOE) come A /L 50.
Nel 2002 è stata trasferita alla Guardia costiera ellenica ed
è stata ribattezzata HCG 050 ARKOI. Questa nave è
stata utilizzata pochissimo dallo SDOE che non ha provveduto neanche
ad una efficiente manutenzione, infatti è stata ferma per lunghi
periodi. Tuttavia, in riconoscimento del contributo della Guardia costiera
ellenica alla società, in particolare al settore marittimo, fornendo
protezione dell'ambiente marino e la sorveglianza e la sorveglianza
del confine marittimo della Grecia, la Fondazione Aikaterini Laskaridis
e Panos e Thanassis Laskaridis hanno provveduto alle riparazioni ed
alla manutenzione rendendola nuovamente efficiente. Il 19 dicembre 2014,
presso il porto del Pireo, alla presenza del ministro della Marina mercantile
e dell'Egeo, Miltiades Varvitsiotis, la Guardia costiera ellenica ha
tenuto una cerimonia di premiazione in onore di Panos Laskaridis e della
Fondazione Aikaterini Laskaridis, per questa donazione. La riparazione
della barca è stata completata nel dicembre 2015. L'intero progetto
è arrivato in un momento cruciale, dato che la nave da pattuglia
da 300 tonnellate, che era stata installata da dieci anni, sarà
gestita dalla Guardia costiera principalmente nell'Egeo orientale, dove
le pressioni dei flussi di rifugiati e migranti sono molto grandi. l'unità
non è armata ma è predisposta per il previsto il montaggio

The
sole boat of the type in service with the Hellenic Coast Guard was ordered
in 1993 and delivered in November 1994 to the boat Financial and Economic
Crime Unit (SDOE) as A/L 50. In 2002 was transferred to the Hellenic

technical problems due to the weakness of the SDOE to fully exploit

of Piraeus, in the presence of the Minister of the Merchant Marine and
the Aegean, Miltiades Varvitsiotis, the Hellenic Coast Guard held an
award ceremony in honor of Mr. Panos Laskaridis and the Aikaterini Laskaridis
Foundation, for this donation. The repair of boat was completed in December
of 2015. The whole project came at a very crucial moment, as the 300
tons patrol ship, which was laid up since ten years ago, will be operated
by the Coast Guard primarily in the eastern Aegean, where pressures
from refugee and migrant flows are very large. The boat is not armed
but there is a provision to mount an Oerlikon 20mm gun. (source). In
