Questa
nave fu costruita per la società Trasmare S.A.,Genova denominata
ADRIANA - nel 1949 rinominata AZALEA per la Adriana Srl di Genova. Nel
1955 fu ceduta alla AGIP SpA di Roma e trasformata in nave gasiera. Nel
1957 fu rinominata AGIPGAS PRIMA - Fu destinata al trasporto di LPG con
diciotto serbatoi posti in due file longitudinali di nove serbatoi ciascuna.
Il prodotto veniva trasportato a temperatura ambiente con una pressione
di circa 18 atm. Fu la prima nave gasiera della Flotta Agip. Nel 1962
fu ceduta alla Oceangas SpA di Palermo e
rinominata JACQUES-
Naufragata il 07.07.1965 e abbandonata sulla costa dell’Isola das
Aves a NW di Caracas (Venezuela).

This ship was
built for the company Trasmare SA, Genoa named ADRIANA - renamed in 1949
AZALEA for Adriana Srl in Genoa. In 1955 he was transferred to the Agip
SpA of Rome and turned into gas carrier. In 1957 it was renamed AgipGas
ONE - It was designed for the transportation of LPG tanks with eighteen
seats in two longitudinal rows of nine tanks each. The product was transported
at ambient temperature with a pressure of about 18 atm. It was the first
gas carrier fleet of Agip. In 1962 it was sold to Palermo Oceangas SpA and
renamed Jacques-Wrecked on 07/07/1965 and abandoned on the coast
of the island das Aves NW of Caracas (Venezuela).
