Rari sono gli yacht con una storia di mezzo
secolo costruiti in Gran Bretagna, probabilmente unico è il Motor
Yacht Arionas. Completamente rinnovato nel 2011 da un team di artigiani
di primissimo livello che hanno saputo ridare splendore e nuova vita ad
un pezzo di storia vivente. L'unione sapiente di esperienza e tecnologia
hanno prodotto un vero e proprio gioiello del mare. Legni pregiati, acciai
di primissima qualità, vernici tecnologicamente avanzate e soluzioni
innovative hanno saputo unire, alla robustezza ed affidabilità della
meccanica di una volta, il comfort e la praticità moderna.
Varato per la prima volta nel 1967 dal cantiere navale "Clelands Shipbuilding"
di Wallsend nel Regno Unito, fiore all'occhiello per quanto riguarda la
costruzione di navi in Inghilterra, con numero di scafo 294 e con il nome
iniziale di Suvretta II, ha solcato presto il Mar del Nord. Grazie alle
sue misure è stato uno degli yacht più maestosi fino agli
anni 80. Disegnato quasi completamente da H. Robson, KF Cragg ed il suo
staff di arredatori di interni della Bannenberg Ltd.
Nel corso del tempo ha cambiato diverse volte nome, infatti da Suvretta
2 è diventato Charisma, poi Charisma A ed infine, come precedentemente
detto, nel 2011, Arionas. Ha avuto diversi armatori di spicco della nautica,
uno su tutti è certamente Sir David Brown, che è stato proprietario
della Aston Martin e della Vosper Thomeycroft.
Ancora oggi è spinto dai Rolls Royce originali, sapientemente restaurati
e oggetti di cure maniacali da parte dell'equipaggio.

Rare are the yachts with
a history of half a century built in Britain, probably unique is the Motor
Yacht Arionas. Completely renovated in 2011 by a top class team of craftsmen
who were able to restore shine and new life to a piece of living history.
The skilful combination of experience and technology have produced a veritable
jewel of the sea. precious woods, the highest quality steels, technologically
advanced and innovative paint solutions were able to combine, with the robustness
and reliability of the mechanics of the past, comfort and modern convenience.
Launched for the first time in 1967 by the shipyard "Clelands Shipbuilding"
of Wallsend in the UK flagship regarding the construction of ships in England,
with hull number 294 and with the initial name of Suvretta II, he has sailed
soon the North Sea. Thanks to its size has been one of the most majestic
yachts up to years 80. Drawn almost entirely by H. Robson, KF Cragg and
his team of interior designers of Bannenberg Ltd.
Over time the name has changed several times, in fact from Suvretta 2 became
Charisma, Charisma then A and finally, as mentioned above, in 2011, Arionas.
He has had several prominent owners of sailing, one above all is certainly
Sir David Brown, who was the Aston Martin owner and Vosper Thomeycroft.
Even today it is pushed from the original Rolls Royce, skillfully restored
and objects of manic attention from the crew.
