Il
09.12.2011 in navigazione nel golfo di Biscaglia, entrò in
collisione con la nave Florece che affondò a causa dei danni
ripostati. Gli uomini dell'equipaggio furono tratti in salvo grazie
ai mezzi di salvataggio di bordo. L'AFRODITE subì lievi
danni e potè ripredere la navigaziione.
On
09.12.2011 while sailing in the Bay of Biscay, she collided with the
Florece ship which sank due to the damage reposted. The crewmen were
rescued thanks to the on-board rescue vehicles. The AFRODITE
suffered minor damage and was able to resume navigation.
