Questa
nave fu acquistata dall SPAN nel giugno 1971 ed adeguata al trasporto
di autoveicoli e passeggeri nel golfo di Napoli.Con la Costituzione
della CA.RE.MAR le vecchie navi della SPAN tra cui la EQUA furono
alienate. nel 1980 fu acquistata da Raffaele Savarese,
rivenduta poi ad Agosstino Lauro e poi nel
2003 alla Monia Lines che la rivendette per demolizione all'associazione
Italiana Amici delle Navi a Vapore G.L. Spinelli che l'acquistò
per ristrutturarla ma evidentemente i costi alti li indussero a desistere
ed a recuperare solo il materiale storico di quel tipo di nave. Fu
trasportata a Fiumicino. Nel 2008 a causa di un cedimento strutturale
iniziò ad imbarcare acqua e si adagiò sul fondale inclinata
su un lato dove si trova attualmente
degradandosi sempre di più giorno
per giorno.
30.06.1930:
In collisione con la nave Danese MTB “GLENTEN” a Copenhagen.Solo
lievi danni allo scafo.
04.05.1949:
In collisione con la nave Danese “ÆRØPAKET”
a Copenhagen solo lievi danni akllo scafo.
05.10.1954: Explosione di una cladaia tra Malmø e Copenhagen
. 1 macchinista ferito..
05.09.1955: In collisione
con la nave Svedese SS. “BELLEVUE” a Copenhagen. Solo danni
allo scafo.

This ship was bought by
SPAN in June 1971 and adapted to the transport of vehicles and passengers
in the Gulf of Napoli.Con the CA.RE.MAR the old Constitution of SPAN ships
including the FAIR were alienated. in 1980 it was bought by Raffaele Savarese,
then resold to Agosstino Lauro and then in 2003 to Monia Lines who sold
it for demolition Italian association Friends of the Steamship G.L. Spinelli,
who bought it to renovate it but obviously the high costs led them to
desist and to recover only the historical material of that type of ship.
He was transported to Fiumicino. In 2008 due to structural failure it
began to take on water and lay down on the inclined bottom on one side
where it is now more and more degrading day by day.
30.06.1930: In collision

in Copenhagen whilst en route to Malmø carrying passengers. Only
minor damage reported.
05.10.1954:
Explosion in oil furnace whilst in the Sound en route from Malmø
to Copenhagen carrying passengers. 1 stoker suffered burns.
05.09.1955:
In collision with Swedish S.S. “BELLEVUE” in Copenhagen whilst
en route to Malmø carrying passengers. Only minor damage reported.
