INFORMAZIONI STORICHE

Questa nave è stata costruita in Norvegia e ha iniziato la sua carriera nel 1960 denominata HARALD JARL . E' stata impiegata per la navigazione lungo i fiordi norvegesi . Nel 2003 è stata ristrutturata e rinominata ANDREA enoleggiata esclusivamente da Nobile Caledonia per diversi anni. Nella primavera del 2012, e' stata acquistata dal Volga Dream e rinominata SERENISSIMA . Attualmente è impiegata in diversi intinerari con destinazioni come il Canale di Panama, le isole Azzorre, i Caraibi, l'Europa settentrionale (Regno Unito-Scozia, Mar Baltico) e anche il Mar Mediterraneo.
Nel giugno 1968 fu prima nave ad inaugurare il nuovo percorso express per Svalbard fino al 1982.
Nel febbraio 1969 entò in collisione con Sunnmøre a Hustadvika, la collisione provocò lievi danni sulla murata.
Nel 1980 fu ristrutturata e e nella maggior parte delle cabine fu creato il bagno ed il W.C.

MS Serenissima cruise ship was built in Norway and started its career in 1960 as HARALD JARL, sailing on itineraries along the Norwegian fjords and coastline. Extensively refurbished in 2003, the 100-passenger vessel was renamed ANDREA and chartered exclusively by Noble Caledonia for several years. In spring 2012, the ship was bought by the Volga Dream (a Russian cruise travel company) and renamed SERENISSIMA . Its current cruise itinerary program is very diverse and includes destinations, such as Panama Canal, the Azores Islands, Caribbean, Northern Europe (UK-Scotland, Baltic Sea) and also Mediterranean Sea.
In June 1968 it was the first ship to inaugurate the new express route to Svalbard until 1982.
In February 1969 he collided with Sunnmøre at Hustadvika, and the collision caused minor damage to the wall.
In 1980 it was renovated and in most cabins was created the bathroom and the W.C.
