INFORMAZIONI STORICHE
Il 25 Aprile 2009 in navigazione al largo delle coste somale con 1.500 persone a bordo respingeva un attacco di pirati grazie al personale della sicurezza privata (israeliani) che rispondeva al fuoco dei banditi ed all'abilità del comandante Ciro Pinto che evitava l'arrembaggio con manovre evasive. Il comandante comunicò via radio , che sei uomini in una piccola barca si avvicinarono alla nave ed aprirono il fuoco. Ma la prontezza di spirito del personale di sicurezza che risposero immediatamente al fuoco evitò il peggio. "Mi sentivo come se fossimo in guerra", fortunatamente nessuno dei circa 1.000 passeggeri e 500 membri dell'equipaggio è rimasto ferito.Dopo l'attacco la nave ha proseguito per il porto giordano di Aqaba.
Dal 16.09.2012 in disarmo a Napoli - Dal novembre 2013 , venduta ad una società indiana per essere trasformata in hotel galleggiante

On April 25, 2009 while sailing off the coast of Somalia with 1,500 people on board rejected an attack by pirates, thanks to the staff of private security (Israelis) who responded to the fire of the bandits and the ability of the commander Ciro Pinto avoided with the boarding evasive maneuvers.
